Step by step guide for the Make-Up

·         Cleanse the whole face thoroughly to remove all make-up using cotton pads
·         Tone to remove any excess product using cotton pads
·         Apply moisturiser to the face and neck
·         Apply a small amount of Illamasqua primer to the face and neck
·         Apply the correct colour foundation to the face from the Kryolan ultrafoundation palette to match the models skin tone using a foundation brush (make sure to blend the foundation into the neck)
·         Blend the foundation into the face and neck using a stippling brush
·         Apply a small amount of Illamasqua loose powder over the face to set the foundation using a kabuki brush
·         Highlight down the centre of the nose and across the top of the cheek bones with a blusher brush using the pale tan shimmery colour from the Kryolan glamour glow palette
·         Contour just under the cheek bones and jaw line with a blusher brush using pink (Annatto) from the Kryolan viva brilliant palette (apply the pink quite strong as pink may not always be visible on camera if it is applied lightly)
·         With a small, fine brush also contour down the edges of the nose, again using the pink (Annatto) from the Kryolan viva brilliant palette
·         Using a small flat eye shadow brush apply white from the Kryolan supracolor palette across the whole of the eyelids
·         Using a dry flat eye shadow brush gently dab over the white supracolor with a powdered white (Fennel) from the Kryolan viva brilliant palette to set the colour in place so there are no creases on the eyelids
·         Using a small, fine make-up brush go above the crease of the eye to create the pink using the pink from the Kryolan supracolor palette and create a flick at the end of the eye (use tape to get defined lines if you feel you can’t keep a steady hand)
·         Using a dry, flat eye shadow brush gently dab pink (Annatto) from the Kryolan viva brilliant palette over the top of the pink supracolor to set the colour in place to prevent creases on the eyelids (also blend it into the edges of the nose where it has been contoured)
·         Create a white flick under the pink flick using the white from the Kryolan supracolor palette, again using a small, fine brush
·         Apply blue supracolor under the eye using a small, fine brush and again creating a flick at the end of the eye just under the white
·         Using a small slanted brush apply blue from the Kryolan supracolor palette to the eyebrows
·         Using a lip brush apply the blue supracolor to the lips to make them look defined
·         Apply Kryolan blue glitter over the top of the blue supracolor on the lips so the glitter sticks, giving the lips a blue, glittery finish
·         Apply a thin layer of black mascara to the top and bottom lashes
·         Finally apply some strip lashes (natural) with adhesive to the eyes (use tweezers to apply lashes if needed).

Step by step guide for the Hair

·         Comb through the whole hair to make sure there are no knots
·         Back comb the top part of the hair to give it volume
·         Cover one side of the hair using an old towel and spray one side of the hair pink/purple down to the top of the ear using Kryolan coloured hairspray
·         Do exactly the same to the other side of the hair but instead spray it blue/green using the Kryolan coloured hairspray
·         With the rest of the hair at the back, gel it down and then comb it through so it stays in place.

Evaluation for Timed Assessment
The above images show my completed look for my timed assessment which was one of my catwalk looks for my shoot. When it came down to creating my look my main worry was being able to complete my look in the time given as I wasn't sure how smoothly it was going to go as I had a few complications with the eye make up in my practice looks. This was due to me not being able to get the flicks straight and even both sides of the eyes, however I overcame this problem by using tape which helped greatly in my timed assessment. In my practice look I also found the eye make up kept smudging, this was mainly when my model opened her eyes causing the colours to smudge. This was due to the product I was using which was supracolor but I managed to overcome this problem before my timed assessment by dabbing the same coloured eye-shadow from my viva brilliant pallet over the top of the supracolor to set the product in place.
In my timed assessment I would say the only thing that I was slightly disappointed about was that I didn't have time to try out the pink and blue coloured hair sprays before applying them to my models hair and the colours turned out to be a little darker than I had expected, this wasn't a huge problem although I do feel it would have looked better if they matched the colours of the make up.
Something I was very happy with was my contouring and highlighting and would say it has definitely become a great strength of mine now which before was once a weakness.
Overall I am really happy and satisfied with the outcome and I feel the practice definitely paid off.
