For my first catwalk look I researched many Max Factor catwalk images and one of the latest ones which came up was for the Stars Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens film. With me being a great fan of futuristic/sci-fi this really caught my eye instantly so wanted to research into it further.
Max Factor partnered up with Star Wars for their latest film. My favourite looks from this are the featured two looks inspired by the films iconic characters Droid and Stormtrooper, developed by Proter and Gamble's global creative director, Pat McGrath who is also my favourite make up artist which I am completely inspired by.
Stormtrooper is a soldier, so this make up look is intercut with a graphic eye. The look is structured with a very dark lip.
Droids make up is strong gold eyes, gold lips and high shine cheekbones with a metallic look which is very popular this season.
Below is a video with Pat McGrath where she takes us behind the scenes with Max Factor at the star wars "Fashion Finds the Force Event" in London, England.
Another look which inspired me is the image shown below. The Victoria Secret model Candice Swanepoel shows bold shimmers, lots of colour, full blush and glossy lips. I love the heavy eye make up and the colours used really relate to spring/summer 2016 and I also feel it still has that futuristic look about it especially with the black cut out top in which she is wearing.
I also researched Max Factor make up products which would relate to the spring/summer 2016 colours, such as pink and blues which I could use in my look. Some of which are shown below.
I also watched found a video on YouTube by Max Factor called Butterfly eyes which really inspired me and I felt the overall look also reminded me of spring/summer 2016. I felt this could be something I could incorporate with my look.
I feel poses for a futuristic catwalk look will be quite a serious look, such as just staring right at the camera with a stright face or to the side as from my research I am able to see that most futuristic make up looks have a very serious pose. The poses look very intense and quite powerful.
