Shooting For Advertisement Look 1

When shooting for my first advertisement look, it was a daytime look advertising the brand new Max Factor Voluptuous False Lash Effect Mascara.
When I visited the Max Factor store I decided to actually purchase the mascara so I was able to use it in my shoot to show I am representing the brand Max Factor. I also wanted my look to relate to spring/summer 2016 so I decided to use a bluey/green eye-shadow on the eyes which matched the packaging of the mascara I was advertising. However I didn't add much more colour to the face as I wanted to make it clear that it was the mascara I was advertising and didn't want anything to distract this, although I did use the same colour nail varnish which shows when my model is holding the mascara in the images. I used natural false eye lashes on the lashes to enhance my models eyes so this is what people are drawn too when looking at the image.
I made my model pose in a variety of different ways so I was able to capture my desired look, to begin with my model was posing in a casual, black leather jacket as I wanted to give the look a relaxed daytime feel however it wasn't working and didn't feel it looked daytime enough so she removed the jacket and I then thought the images looked more effective and there was nothing to distract the mascara being advertised.
The final image I chose I was really happy with as it looks very natural with her eyes looking away and it is clear to see I am advertising the mascara with my model holding the mascara brush to her bottom lashes. I also liked the fact that her mouth was open slightly with her smiling as this pose shows a happy daytime look.
I decided to shoot with a plain background as I didn't want any distractions to be taken away from what I was trying to advertise.
Overall I was very happy with the way the shoot went and feel I captured some great images for my desired outcome.

Below shows some of the images I took for the shoot
