When shooting for my second advertisement look this was a night-time look and I chose to advertise the new ruby red Max Factor lipstick from the latest Marilyn Monroe spring collection 2016 which I actually purchased when I went to visit the Max Factor store. I feel red lips really project a great evening make up look and I feel you don't really need to be wearing a lot of make up but a red lipstick will just automatically spruce up your look to make it look evening. So therefore I didn't use too much make up on the face to distract what I was trying to portray which was the red lipstick. I gave my model a dewy skin base as I feel this gives an evening feel to the make up too and I love how it came out on camera with a nice glow to her face. I didn't do much more to the make up apart from applying a thin layer of mascara to the lashes.
The only thing I was unhappy about was my models nails still being blue from the previous shoot, I feel this didn't match in with the look, however I don't feel this was a huge issue as I could edit this in Photoshop.
There are many images I liked from this shoot but my favourite being the image with my model looking straight at the camera with the red lipstick resting on her bottom lip. I feel this pose gives a very sexy and attractive look giving the image a very night-time feel.
I decided to shoot with plain back ground as I didn't want any distractions to be taken away from what I was advertising.
I feel I had the perfect model for this look as the red lipstick complimented her dark skin tone.
My models hair was swiftly brushed back off her face giving it a really ravishing look and she was wearing an attractive black boob tube top which also shows this is a night-time look.
Overall I was very happy with the way this shoot went and I feel I captured many great images which made it slightly difficult for me to choose from.
