Unfortunately I wasn't happy nor satisfied with my editorial second look. My model had work the day I was shooting and I feel it all got a bit rushed.
When looking back at the images I wasn't at all happy with the make up, the blues didn't match. When doing the make up and relating it to my research I wanted the eyes and lips to be bold as this is a popular trend for spring/summer 2016, however I feel the blue I used for the eyes and lips was completely the wrong blue as it was far too dark making it look overly harsh.
I feel the contouring on the cheeks was too much as well, I feel I shouldn't have made it blue as this made it look a bit over the top.
One thing I did like was the location with the pretty Daffodil and Bluebell flowers relating to spring/summer 2016. I also liked some of the shots taken, one being with my model posing against the big tree I thought this was effective although it didn't show off too much of the flowers which was a bit disappointing. I also liked some of the more natural shots taken, with my model walking through the bed of flowers smiling, this looked like a very happy, natural shot.
As I am not satisfied with the way the shoot went, this means I am now going to have to re-shoot and change my look. I will also have to find out when my model has more free time to complete the shoot so it isn't too rushed. If my model isn't available then this means finding somebody else, so the pressure is on!
