Practising Advertisement Looks

For the advertisement photo-shoots I didn't want to over complicate the look as I didn't want anything to distract people from the product in which I am advertising so I just literally concentrated the make up on the areas of the face which I was advertising, which was the new Voluptuous False Lash Effect Mascara for my daytime advertisement and the new Ruby Red Lipstick from the Spring collection 2016 for my night time advertisement.

Below shows a photo of the Max Factor mascara and lipstick I will be using for the photo-shoots.

Practice look for Daytime Advertisement
Firstly I created a natural foundation base but contoured and highlighted certain areas of the face to give the skin that spring/summer glow.
For the eye's I decided to apply a light blue/green eye shadow to the eyelid matching the colour of the Max Factor mascara in which I will be advertising. I feel this colour also matches perfectly to spring/summer 2016. I then also applied a thin layer of the mascara to the lashes, waited for them to dry and then applied false lashes to enhance the lashes but still keeping it realistic.
To finish the look I applied a natural matte lipstick to match my models natural lip colour as this way I wouldn't draw any attention away from the mascara I will be advertising which is what I need the focus to be on.
Overall I was very happy with my first practice look for advertisement. I feel the colour of the eye shadow, nails and mascara packaging all gives it that daytime feel as well as relating to spring/summer. I also feel the false lashes are a great way to define the lashes as it draws the attention to them and you are able to see clearly that this is what I am advertising.

Practice look for Night-time Advertisement
Firstly to create my night-time look I applied a dewy foundation base so it gave a nice evening glow to the face. Next I highlighted the tops of the cheek bones and down the nose which will catch the light nicely and I then lightly contoured the cheek bones with a bronzed colour to define them. I then applied a light brown eye shadow to the eyelids, again nothing that would draw the attention away from what I am advertising. I then applied a few coats of mascara to the lashes making them nice and dark for a real evening look. Next I carefully outlined the lip with a sharp, red lip pencil to define the shape more and I then applied the Max Factor Ruby Red Lipstick to the lip finishing it off with a shiny gloss.
Overall I was very happy with my second practice look for advertisement. I really feel the make up suits the occasion as it gives it a real night time feel.
